FINANCIAL STATEMENT: Total cost for Five Year Program - $13 ,223 , 735
DESCRIPTION Staff has prepared the 1984-85 Update to the 1983-88
Five Year Capital Improvement Program. This document was provided to each
Councilmember and made available to the public on June 1, 1984 .
As indicated in the Capital Improvement Program document, in the remaining
four ( 4 ) years of the program, the following expenditures are recommended:
General Improvements $ 86 , 000
Community Improvements 2 , 216 ,500
Parks 2 , 165 , 000
Streets 81001 , 000
Total $12 , 468 ,500
On June 4 , 1984 the Five Year Capital Improvement Program ws presented to
the City ' s Planning Commission which determined that the Plan was in
conformance with the General Plan. - The Planning Commission also agreed that
some consideration should be given to improving the median on both sections
of Silvergate Drive . Staff concurs with this recommendation and will
develop some engineering estimates if so directed by the City Council .
It is recommended that the City Council adopt the attached resolution
approving the 1984-85 Update to the City ' s Five Year Capital Improvement
Program.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN

ADOPTING THE 1984-85 UPDATE TO THE
FIVE YEAR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
1983-1988
WHEREAS, in 1983 the City Council adopted the first Five
Year Capital Improvement Program; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of reviewing the
Capital Improvement Program to assure that all identified needs
are addressed; and
WHEREAS, the 1984-85 Update has been reviewed by the
Planning Commission, �ffiich found the document in conformance with
the proposed General Plan .
NOW, THEREFORE, the Dublin City Council does hereby
find, determine , declare and resolve as follows :
1 . The Dublin City Council does hereby adopt the
1984-85 Update to the Five Year Capital Improvement
Program 1983-1988 , and said Update is attached
hereto and made a part hereof .
2 . The items scheduled for implementation in Fiscal
Year 1984-85 shall be included in the appropriate
portion of the Annual Budget and Financial Plan for
Fiscal Year 1984-85 .
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 26th day of June,
1984 .
