SUBJECT Rehabilitation of Major Arterials - Dublin Boulevard,
Amador Valley Boulevard, and Village Parkway

RECOMMENDATION . ( . Authorize Staff to advertise for bids
FINANCIAL STATEMENT; Total project budget ( including design/inspection and
construction) $511 , 000 . 00 . Federal Aid Urban funds
will fund 86% of the construction costs (approximately
$390 , 000 )
DESCRIPTION This project would repair pavement failures, provide
an asphalt overlay and traffic signal interconnect wire at the following
• locations : .
` 1 . Village Parkway-Amador Valley Boulevard to Dublin Boulevard
2 . Dublin Boulevard (north side) -San Ramon Road to Alamo Canal
3 . Amador Valley Boulevard-San Ramon Road to Donahue Drive
The streets are in need of repair and overlay. The south side of Dublin
Boulevard was overlayed in 1982 .
In addition, street lights would be installed in the median on the Dublin
Boulevard project .
Estimated Cost
Design/Inspection $ 56 , 000
Construction 455 ,000
Total $511 , 000
This project has now been approved for advertising by both the State and
Federal agencies.
The landscaping of medians and street trees on these streets will follow the
improvements undertaken as part of this project .
