DESCRIPTION: In July, 1984, the City Council awarded
Contract 84-3 to Plowman and Sons, Inc., for Dougherty Road
Storm Drain Improvements. The major items of work were
construction of a storm drain along the frontage of Arroyo
Vista from the Southern Pacific Railroad right-of-way, on
the south, to the northern property limit of the subdivision
near Ventura Drive.
During the construction phase, the City Engineer authorized
change orders totalling $7,600.00 for extra work caused by
irrigation leaks and a utility conflict.
The contractor has completed the improvements in accordance
with the approved plans, specifications, and modifications.
Staff recommends acceptance of improvements and final
payment to contractor.
