HomeMy WebLinkAboutItem 8.1 Joint Council Murray School Board Meeting (2) 1 515-3o M E M O R A N D U M TO : C '-ty Council FROM: ity Manager SUBJECT: Joint City Council/Murray School Board Meeting DATE : May 9 , 1985 As we indicated to you earlier, the joint meeting between the Dublin City Council and the Murray School District Board of Trustees is set for Thursday, May 30, 1985 at 7 : 30 p.m. , in the Board of Trustees meeting room. This week Superintendent Dick Cochran indicated that the Board of Trustees would like to have the following items included on the agenda for that meeting: 1) Crossing Guards ; 2) School District grounds maintenance ; 3 ) Use of empty School District facilities ; 4) Recreation; 5 ) Kolb Park. Box 2340 Dublin, CA 94568 Dear Richard: The Board of Trustees, during its meeting May 6, discussed items for inclusion in the agenda for the May 30 joint meeting of the Board and Council . The following items were proposed: Crossing Guards -Funding sources, criteria, time lines. Grounds Maintenance -Cooperative maintenance similar to former agreement with D/SRSD. Recreation -City-directed, and what the District can do to support. Use of Properties -Using empty facilities for adult education classes and charging fees for use of properties.
