DESCRIPTION : As part of the review and approval of Larry Lee's 150 unit single family development and the Amador Lakes' development, certain landscaping and park maintenance was made a condition of approval. This maintenance assessment district provides funds for this work. The County Assessor collects these monies for the City for the maintenance of the park and landscaping along Stagecoach Road. The District's boundaries include all of the subdivision #4719. It maintains all Stagecoach Road landscaping (including that portion within the City of San Ramon), and the mini-park in subdivision #4719. On April 8, 1985, the City Council authorized the Mayor to execute an agreement with the City of San Ramon for the maintenance of landscaping on Stagecoach Road. Approval of this resolution will begin the process for the second annual landscape maintenance report and assessment spread for this District. COPIES TO' Property Owners RESOLUTION NO. - 85 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN DIRECTING PREPARATION OF ANNUAL REPORT FOR LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING DISTRICT NO. 83-2 WHEREAS, on January 23, 1984, by its Resolution No. 11- 84, the City Council initiated proceedings and by Resolution No. 10-84, it ordered formation of Landscaping and Lighting District No. 83-2 (the "District") pursuant to the provisions of the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972 (commencing at Section 22500 of the California Streets and Highways Code) (hereinafter "the Act"); and WHEREAS, Sections 22620 et seq. of the Act provide for the levy of annual assessments after formation of the District; and WHEREAS, within said District, the existing and proposed improvements and any substantial changes proposed to be made to the existing improvements are generally as described on Exhibit A attached hereto and hereby made a part hereof. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Dublin City Council does hereby designate the Dublin City Engineer as Engineer for purposes of preparing and filing with the Clerk a written report in accordance with Section 22565 et seq. of the Act; said Engineer is hereby directed to apportion said assessments in accordance to the benefits received from said improvements by the lots, pieces and parcels of land within the District, and said Engineer is hereby directed to accomplish such preparation and filing forthwith. Gates & Associates, Landscape Architects, on file with the City of Dublin, and their maintenance, including weeding, fertilizing, pruning and plant replacement; the operation of irrigation systems including payment for the cost of water and power utilities; the maintenance of fencing, play structures and entrance signs; and trash removal on streets and in the neighborhood park all along Stagecoach Road and in the Stagecoach mini-park between Amador Valley Boulevard and Alcosta Boulevard in the Cities of Dublin and San Ramon.
