1. Why are you interested in serving on the Senior Center Advisory
Committee?
_I believe I can make a contribution to the committee. I speak with Seniors full time, and understand their
_concerns and goals._More Seniors in Dublin can use the Center, and perhaps more Baby Boomers
_and Seniors in their early 60's should visit the Center and take advantage of the programs offered.
2. What knowledge do you have of the programs and services offered
through the Dublin Senior Center?
_I have been to the center a few times for lunch. I'm busy originating Reverse Mortgages for Seniors
_as a full time, self-employed business. I follow the activities of the Center. As a Senior myself,
_I hope that the Center can improve the variety of programs and activities.
3. Have you or a family member taken advantage of the programs and
services offered through the Dublin Senior Center?
Only the Lunches, so far, as I'm busy marketing and meeting with Seniors for my business.
_I'm a voluteer for the NAMI non-profit in Livermore, and I'm active with many Senior Fairs
_of the programs and activities
4. Are there additional programs and services that should be offered
through the Dublin Senior Center? Please describe.
_The Center has a good start with the programs and activity lists. As aging Senior/BabX boomer,
_the center should try to attract more young Seniors, with perhaps more programs on nutrition and diet.

5. What do you feel are some of the most pressing issues facing elder
adults in-our society?
(Please disregard the underlining. formating problems.)As an interested "spectator", it appears to me that the
Center is well managed. The world's financial assets are now worth about 30% less than a year ago.
This has affected all Seniors. Every dollar spent should be evaluated more than in the past. Seniors are interes
_in value, as well as quality Health Care, food ,entertainment, etc. The Center's list of activities is good.
-Enjoying our golden years and staying healthy within a budget is probably the ,goal of most Seniors
6. How do you feel about making a decision for the overall good of the
community but unpopular with neighbors or organizations?
The organization must consider all of the impact and ramifications of every decision made I don't have an
_"Agenda", with respect to serving on this committee. As a new member, I will be a ,good listener,
and sim? ly offer my thoughts nn hew we can reach out to more Seniors in l~uhlin.
7. What is the most important contribution you can make as a member of
the Senior Center Advisory Committee?
I have a financial background with regular mortgages and reverse mort ag,.._,~es. I beleive that I relate
well with people. My volunteer work with NAMI has enlarged my perspective on the issues facing Seniors.
Most people in Dublin probably believe that I'm respected by my colleagues, friends and neighbors
Our family has lived here for 22 years. I want to give something back to this good community that we live in
I have the time to be a good contributor, with the knowledge and friendliness to reach the common ground
-necessary for the Center to run efficiently. Expanding the use of the Center with younger Seniors
_is perhaps a goal that most or all committee members share with me.
