FINANCIAL STATEMENT: City to compensate County 1 . 70 of amount collected for
collection of district monies . This collection fee is
built into each respective District ' s budget .
DESCRIPTION This agreement authorizes the County to collect
special assessments from taxable real property within the City. The County
now collects all ad valorem taxes for real property within the City and it
is more efficient and beneficial to the City for the County to also collect
special assessments of the City.
This agreement covers all districts within the City, existing and future .
The two existing districts are 1 ) the Citywide Street Lighting District and
2 ) the Landscape Maintenance District Covering Street Landscaping within
Tract 4719 off Stagecoach Road.

APPROVING THE AGREEMENT TO COLLECT
SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS
WHEREAS, the City of Dublin has a Lighting Assessment
District and a Landscape Assessment District which provide for the
Collection of Special Assessments from taxable real property
within the City; and
WHEREAS, the County now collects all ad valorem taxes
for real property within the City, and it is more efficient and
beneficial to the City for the County to also collect special
assessments of the City; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to have an agreement in order
for the County to collect special assessments for the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Dublin City
Council does hereby approve the Agreement to Collect Special
Assessments , and hereby authorizes the Mayor to sign said
Agreement on behalf of the City.

AGREEMENT TO COLLECT CITY SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS
In response to your request, enclosed is the form of an agreement between
Alameda County and the City of Dublin for collection of City special
assessments with County property taxes.
For your information, the form of the agreement has been approved by County
Counsel . However, if any revision to the form is required, make a notation of
the revision desired onto the form and return it to this office for our review
and approval .
If the agreement is in order, prepare four executed sets of the agreement
(signature of appropriate city officials) and send them to this office for
routing to the Board of Supervisors.

A G R E E M E N T
THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this day of 1984,
by and between the COUNTY OF ALAMEDA, first party hereinafter called County,
and the CITY OF DUBLIN , a municipal corporation, second party, hereinafter
called City.
W I T N E S S E T H
WHEREAS, City has special assessments collectable from taxable real
property within City; and
WHEREAS, County now collects all ad valorem taxes for real property within
City, and it is more efficient and beneficial for City and its residents that
County should also collect special assessments of City.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises herein contained,
it is agreed as follows:
1 . County shall assume on behalf of City for the 1984-85 fiscal year and
each fiscal year thereafter, the collection, payment and enforcement
of all special assessments levied by City against City taxable real
property, whether levied by State statute or City ordinance, except
1911 Act Street Improvement Bonds.
(a) City .shall annually provide County an official declaration of
all special assessments to be imposed on City taxable real
property.
2. All special assessments, including delinquencies, interest, and
penalties collected by County for City shall be deposited in the
Unapportioned Tax Fund in the County Treasury.
3. Monthly or when reasonably practicable, County shall pay City all
special assessments, including delinquencies, interest, and penalties
collected by County for City during the preceeding month.

4. The County Auditor shall furnish the City Auditor each fiscal year
with a verified accounting showing the amounts of special assessments
billed by County for City; the amounts of said charges collected; the
amounts of said charges cancelled; the amount of delinquent charges,
interest, and penalties collected; the compensation paid to County
for all collections; and the amounts disbursed to City by County of
said charges collected.
5. City shall compensate County for the services pursuant to this
Agreement in an amount equal to one, and seven tenths percent ( 1 .7%)
of the monies actually collected by County for City under this
Agreement.
6. This Agreement shall continue in effect from fiscal year to fiscal
year, provided that either party hereto may terminate it at the end
of any fiscal year by giving the other party sixty (60) or more days
notice in writing of the intention to terminate. A fiscal year, as
used herein, shall begin on July 1 , and end on June 30, of the
following year.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have hereunder set their names and
seals by their officers thereunder duly authorized, the day and year first
written above.
