FINANCIAL STATEMENT: None
DESCRIPTION: The City has received a letter from Fred C.
Roberts, Manager of the Alameda County Mosquito Abatement District
advising that Dr. Harvey Scudder's term of office will expire on
January 2 , 1992 .
Dr. Scudder has served on this board since August 2 , 1983 . Staff
contacted Dr. Scudder and he has expressed a willingness to continue
to serve in this capacity. Dr. Scudder's new term will run until
January 2 , 1994 .
Staff recommends that the City Council adopt the attached Resolution
reappointing Dr. Harvey Scudder to the Mosquito Abatement District
Board of Trustees.
Dr. Scudder will be present at the meeting and has expressed a desire
to present a short report to the Council related to this Board's
activities.

Dear Mayor and Council Members :
The Board of Trustees of the Alameda County Mosquito Abatement
District instructed me at their meeting of October 30 , 1991 , to notify
you that the term of office of Dr. Harvey Scudder expires January 2 ,
1992 . We respectfully request an appointment be made prior to the
expiration date.---for the two-year term of trustee of this District
representing tyhe City of Dublin.
Dr . Scudder has served on our Board since August 2 , 1983 . His
professional expertise in the fields of entomology and public health
is of great value to the District .
We shall appreciate your sending us a certified copy of your
resolution appointing your trustee to our Board for the term ending
January 2 , 1994 .

RESOLUTION NO. - 91
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN
MAKING AN APPOINTMENT TO THE
ALAMEDA COUNTY MOSQUITO ABATEMENT DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Dublin is authorized to
appoint one member of the Board of Trustees of the Alameda County
Mosquito Abatement District; and
WHEREAS, the term for the current appointee expires on January 2 ,
1992 ; and
WHEREAS, the term of this appointment shall be from January 2 ,
1992 through January 2 , 1994 .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of Dublin does hereby appoint Harvey I. Scudder, Ph.D. , as Board of
Directors Trustee representing the City of Dublin on the Mosquito
Abatement District.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall forward a
certified copy of this Resolution to the Alameda County Mosquito
Abatement District.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 9th day of December, 1991, by
