DESCRIPTION: In April of 1992, the City Council awarded Contract 92-03,
Dublin Boulevard Bridge Deck Repair, to American Grouting Inc./Erbentraut and
Summers, A Joint Venture. This project is Phase I of a two-part repair commitment
for the bridge deck and the channel slopes under the bridge. In this phase, the
bridge deck was cleaned and sealed with a methacrylate compound which will prevent
water intrusion into the structure.
The City Engineer has reviewed the project improvement and found it to be in
compliance with the specifications and special provisions. Staff recommends that
the City Council accept the improvements and authorize payment of $12,127 to
American Grouting/Erbentraut and Summers, A Joint Venture.
