All subscribers and alarm companies have been very sympathetic and willing to work with the Dublin Police Services to rectify any ongoing problems. The ordinance requires alarm companies to notify Dublin Police Services of all new alarms installed. Without canvassing all the commercial and residential areas regarding newly installed alarms we do not have a mechanism for determining how many new alarm systems have been installed (especially by the homeowners).
