If the City of Dublin's project is approved, the City will receive a
$47,000 grant from the State to construct a bridge at Mape Memorial
Park. across Martin Canyon Creek.
The City of Dublin is requesting approximately $47,000 in TDA
DESCRIPTION:
ITmding to install a bicycle/pedestrian bridge over the creek at Mape Memorial Park within the City of
Dublin. This bridge will connect the bicycle and pedestrian path south of Mape Park to the park and
Nielsen School to the north of the park. Children are now walking across the creek in dry weather to get
to school. Please see the attached project location map.
This project was previously included as part o£the refurbishing of Mape Park, but due to funding
constraints, the bridge was eliminated from the contract.
If the City receives this grant, it is anticipated that funds will be available in late Summer of this year.
Design has already been completed, and once the contract has been let it is estimated to take about 3
