DESCRIPTION:
The City has received several gifts which are described below:
Santa's Chair
The Parks and Community Services Department received a donation of an oversized Santa's Chair which
would be an ideal prop for the annual "Breakfast With Santa" special event. The chair was donated by
Paul Schmitt, 696 Shelley Street, Livermore.
.. Antique Printing Press
The Dublin Heritage Center received a donation of an antique printing press and accessories valued at
$1,025. The press was donated by Brent Wilcox, 3988 Stanley Boulevard, Pleasanton. The Heritage
Center Advisory Committee recommends that the City Council accept this gift. They felt that the shed
behind the schoolhouse would be an ideal location to setup a small "print shop" for demonstrations and
classes and that this could be a special draw for the Heritage Center.
Per Government Code Section 37354, it is recommended that all gifts and contributions be formally
accepted by the City Council. Therefore it is the recommendation of Staff that the City Council accept the
gifts and direct Staff to prepare a formal acknowledgment to the donors.
