Consider participation in Scouting-City Leadership Day on February 16 , 1983 . FINANCIAL STATEMENT: Cost of Luncheon approximately $50 . 00 DESCRIPTION In recognition of Scouting' s 73rd Anniversary, Councilmember Burton has arranged with the local Scout Executive Committee, City and DSRSD Staffs, and the Chamber of Commerce for a Scouting-City Leadership Day on February 16 , 1983 . The purpose of such an event is to provide a selected group of Scouts from the community with the opportunity to learn more about the services which are provided to residents in the City of Dublin. As shown on the attached schedule of r events, the Scouts will have an opportunity to tour community facilities, talk with various City officials, and participate in the Chamber of Commerce luncheon.
