A total of $21,000 was budgeted for the
purchase and installation of bleachers.

DESCRIPTION : One of the projects included for funding in
the 1992-97 Capital Improvement Program is the Dublin Sports Grounds
Renovation. Phase I of the project includes construction of a new 60'
baseball field, construction of scorebooths for baseball and softball
fields, installation of fencing for softball fields and installation
of bleachers and drinking fountains for all fields.
Funds have been included in Fiscal Year 1993-94 for the purchase and
installation of bleachers. Bid proposals were circulated and four
proposals were received. The low bidder is David O'Keefe company who
will provide ten bleacher units at a total cost of $16,389.20. The
bleachers will be installed by the city's Public Works Department at
an estimated cost of $2,800.
Staff recommends that the City council adopt the resolution awarding
the purchase order for ten bleacher units to David O'Keefe Company.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN

AWARDING PURCHASE ORDER FOR BLEACHERS
FOR DUBLIN SPORTS GROUNDS
TO DAVID O'KEEFE COMPANY
WHEREAS, the city of Dublin did on February 7, 1994 receive four
bids for provision of bleachers for the Dublin sports Grounds; and
WHEREAS, it is recommended that the bid hereinafter described is
the lowest and best bid for providing the product;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City council of the city
of Dublin does hereby award the purchase order for ten bleacher units
to the lowest bidder, to wit, David O'Keefe company, at a price of
$16,389.20, the particulars of which bid are on file in the City
Clerk's office.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of February, 1994.
