Center Conditional Use Permit to
relocate the future administration

RECOMMENDATION: Continue Public Hearing until City
Council Meeting of November 26, 1984
FINANCIAL STATEMENT: None
DESCRIPTION: On October 22, 1984, the City Council
granted a continuance on the Valley Christian Center Conditional
Use Permit Appeal until November 13, 1984. Mr. Ward Tanneberg of
the Valley Christian Center is requesting an .additional
continuance until November 26, 1984. The reason given is that
Pastor Tanneberg will be out of town that evening on a teaching
assignment.
Staff recommends that the City Council continue the item until
November 26, 1984 .

Dear Council Members:
I must request postponement of the scheduled hearing date a,•;," '
of November 13 related to the administrative building for
Valley Christian Center. A long-standing teaching assign-
ment, which cannot be changed, requires me to be out of
town that evening
Because I am so heavily scheduled and feel that it is
essential that I be present, I would very much appreciate
having this item scheduled for inclusion on November 26.

RE: Request for Continuance for Valley Christian Center: .., ,
On Monday morning, October 22 , 1984 , Judy Allen of the Valley
Christian Center requested a continuance of the Valley Christian
Center Conditional Use Permit Appeal. '; The reason given for the
request was that Pastor Tanneberg could not attend the City -
Council meeting because of a death in his family.
Staff recommends that the City Council consider either 1) -.open
the public hearing, take testimony from those who wish to comment
but cannot return, - and then continue the public hearing, or
2 ) continue the item. -
