Subject: Appointment to the Cable Television Advisory Committee
Dear Members of the Dublin City Council:
I respectfully request your consideration of appointing me as one of the
city's three representatives to the Cable Television Advisory Committee.
I have been a resident of Dublin for the past twelve years and have
participated in a variety of community activities. I have for years had
an academic interest in the television arts which is exampled by my
conducting the election night interviews for community television at the
conclusion of the city incorporation election and wrote the script for a
community telecast advertising Founder's Week.
Because of my knowledge about television arts and my demonstrated
involvement in community activities, I believe I would more than
adequately represent the council's interest on this important committee.
