RE: Reception for delegates from the Bray Sister City Association
Dear Mayor Houston:
The Dublin Sister City Association is requesting that the city of Dublin provide a reception
for the Bray Sister City delegation that will be visiting our city on March 9 through March
15, 1999 . We request that the reception be in the early evening of Wednesday, March 10
or Thursday, March 11, 1999. The reception would afford an opportunity for the
residents of Dublin to meet our Irish visitors and the city officially welcome it's sister city
guests.
.
Bray, Ireland has been the sister city of Dublin for the past ten years. During that period
we have sent delegations to Bray on three occasions, and they have visited here three
times. In the past the city has sponsored a reception to officially honor our guests, as the
Bray Urban Council has done for our delegation.
The program this year will include four full days of visiting local businesses (we call it
shopping), touring local historical and cultural sites, and visiting with local service clubs.
Your consideration of this request is greatly appreciated.
