FINANCIAL STATEMENT: Parade Permit Fee - $60
DESCRIPTION The City has received the attached request from
Soroptimist International of Dublin requesting that the City waive the
permit fee and refund the fee which has already been paid . This fee was
paid to cover the cost of processing the parade permit for the Founder ' s Day
Fun Run which was held on September 29 , 1984 .
Typically these requests are made to the City Council at the time the permit
is approved . In such cases in the past, the Council has waived the fee.

RE: Parade Permit Waiver of Fee
Founders Day Fun Run
When our proposal for the parade permit went before you for approval,
we were not aware that it had to be stated that a waiver of fees was
being asked for. We assumed that this was automaticly included in
our proposal.
The fee has been paid for by our club and we are now asking to have
this fee waived .
This was our first major event and we were not aware of all the processes
that had to done for approvals.
We hope that you understand and grant us this waiver.
