Adopt Resolution approving the 1994-99 Five Year
Capital Improvement Program
Projected oosts for Fisoal Year 1994-95 through
Fiscal Year 1998-99 are estimated at $9,050,820 in
funded projects and $11,233,111 for those projects
which are unfunded or partially funded. The
recommended projects oosts for Fiscal Year 1994-95
are $3,636,679.
DESCRIPTION: A new Five Year Capital Improvement program (CIP) has
been prepared by Staff for the period covering Fiscal Year 1994-95 through
1998-99.

With respeot to those projeots which are identified in the unfunded or
partially funded category, the city has received oris obligated $749,078.
This reduoes the estimated net shortfall for these projects to $11,232,711.
Al though not funded, the proj ects are included in the Five Year CIP in
order that the city may pursue funding for the projects under state Law (AB
16700) and pursue grant funding.
The 1994-99 Five Year CIP inoludes a number of projeots
identified in last year's CIP as well as several new projects.

On June 6, 1994 the Dublin Planning Commission reviewed the new Five Year
CIP and found that the CIP was in conformance with the city's adopted
General Plan.
The City Parks , Reoreation commission has reviewed those projects inoluded
in the Parks program of the CIP. The proposed park and recreation facility
projects are shown in order of priority as expressed by the Parks ,
Reoreation commission with the exception of two Recreation facility repair
projeots which staff recommends be undertaken in the next two years.
city staff and the counoil Liaison Committee will be working with the
Dublin Unified SchOOl District to review the priority of potential
improvements to reoreational facilities located at school sites as well as
the available funding from both the District and the city for those
improvements during the next several months.

RESOLUTION NO. - 94
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN

ADOPTING THE 1994-99 FIVE YEAR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the city council is desirous of establishing a Five Year
Capital Improvement Program to address the city's future public
infrastructure needs; and
WHEREAS, the City council is desirous of reviewing the recommended
1994-99 Capital Improvement Program to ensure the City'S capital needs
are met; and
WHEREAS, the 1994-99 Capital Improvement Program has been reviewed
by the Planning Commission which found the document to be in
conformance with the City'S adopted General Plan; and
WHEREAS, the 1994-99 proposed Park Improvements have been reviewed
by the Park and Recreation Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that:
(1) The city council of the City of Dublin does hereby adopt the
1994-99 Five Year Capital Improvement Program, which is
attached to and made a part hereof; and
(2) The items scheduled for implementation in Fiscal Year 1994-95
shall be included in the Capital Budget of the Annual city
Budget and Financial Plan for Fiscal Year 1994-95.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of June, 1994.
