Darla is interested in presenting a one-half hour program each month which gives an overview of those items which the City deals with on a monthly basis . Those cities which would be included in each program, should they elect to participate, are Dublin, Livermore, Pleasanton and San Ramon. Each City would be responsible for a 6-7 minute presentation. Darla has requested that the City indicate whether it wishes to participate and if so, prepare a schedule of participants for the next few months . ':'e have h-2d inquiries over the past six years, from time to time, as to whether or not we will cover city council meetings. We are ready, tilling, and able to cover our city council meetings; however, until such an invitation is issued to us by the city councils and/or community interest is demonstrated, we would like to serve the viewers and the cities by producing "City Hall Summaries". !'he program would be a monthly half-hour program, seen the first Thursday evening of each month so that it would be a summary of. the preceding month' s council meetings, and a projection of the coming meetings. Your portion would consist of 6-7 minutes, during which we would try to get an overvie?:� of the decisions and issues being processed, in Layman' s terms. The information could be presented by the city manager, a city councilperson, or the mayor -- as selected each month by your city. Our Community Television cre-i 1,oul.d come to the city offices on a specified time and dry -- preferably the last Thursday in each month. The goal is to bring to viewers a summary and projection regarding city council activity, presented conversationally. :e a: jited the outcome of the Sari Ramon incorporation since the ccblecast area extends to Crow Canyon. The specific format. -- presenting all. valley cities within one half-hour program, each city having F-7 minutes of presentation -- was the concept of Sheila Tole, who will. irecuently be the interviewer helping you to present your information.
