FINANCIAL STATEMENT:
The adoption of this Ordinance would not
immediately impact the costs of Council
salaries. Adoption would result in an
increase of $20.10 per month for each
Councilmember and the Mayor subsequent to the
November 1994 election.
DESCRIPTION: An Ordinance has been drafted in accordance with
Section 2.08.020 of the Dublin Municipal Code, and pursuant to

The city council's last 5% annual salary adjustment was approved in
calendar year 1991, and was received following the November, 1992
election.
In July of 1992, the Council directed Staff to survey other cities of
similar size in the Greater Bay Area to determine how compensation is
handled for directly elected mayors. All. .ordinance was presented at
that time for consideration to increase Council salaries by 5% for
calendar year 1992 and by a consensus, the council took no action to
approve an increase.
