Soto, Special Projects Manager EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The City Council will review and discuss a list of national proclamations and proclamations which have been presented on an annual basis by the City Council, which recognize a national appreciation day, week or month. STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Receive the report and provide direction. FINANCIAL IMPACT: None. DESCRIPTION: At its March 3, 2020, Regular City Council meeting, the City Council requested that Staff provide a list of proclamations that were previously presented by the City Counc il on an annual basis and also a list of other nationally recognized proclamations . Currently, most proclamations are presented after a request has been received, and some proclamations are not presented at City Council meetings. The attached list identifies national monthly proclamations from the Federal Register of monthly proclamations from the last five years, including those presented by the City Council, and a full list of proclamations presented by the City Council for the time period 2017 through 2020.
