Progress on West Dublin Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) Station

There are no financial impacts associated with the presentation.
DESCRIPTION: John Rennels, Principal Real Estate Officer, Property Development
at BART will make a presentation to update the City Council on the progress at the West Dublin BART
Station. The presentation will highlight project progress on the garages, the construction to date on the
station and expected construction schedules for the reconstruction and placement of the bridge
overcrossings. In addition, Mr. Rennels will discuss budget projections and additional funding
mechanisms currently under review to address the unforeseen costs associated with the drop in the
economy and construction complications.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that the City Council receive the presentation and
provide any comments.
