RECOMMENDATION: ~ '{I\I"Recognize donors for their contributions and formally accept gifts.
FINANCIAL STATEMENT: The City received $11,250 in monetary donations from sponsors for
the festival.
DESCRIPTION: The 2005 Day on the Glen Festival was held on Saturday and
Sunday, September 17 & 18 at Emerald Glen Park. The festival was attended by approximately 10,000
people and was well supported by local businesses. The City received $11,250 in sponsorships for the
festival (an increase of 31 % over 2004)). In addition the City received support in the form of in-kind
donations of goods and services from Jocal businesses. A list of sponsors is shown below.

Per Government Code Section 37354, it is recommended that all gifts and contributions be formally
accepted by the City Council.
