FINANCIAL STATEMENT: None DESCRIPTION: The term of the current Youth Advisory Committee will end in August 2003. During the past year the Advisory Committee has assisted with the coordination of numerous teen events. Some of the more popular events included the Dub Town Jam, Karaoke Night and an Overnight Teen Lock-In. Community service was a high priority for the Committee this year. The members volunteered to coordinate the parking lots and shuttles at Day on the Glen. They volunteered to operate the City's information booth at the St. Patrick's Day Festival as well as assist the Alameda County Firefighters with the St. Patrick's Day Community Pancake Breakfast. The outgoing Youth Advisory Committee Members have prepared a presentation highlighting activities and accomplishments over the past year. The Committee would also like to recognize Mimi's Caf~ of Dublin for providing over $1,000 of in-kind donations to support the Dub Town Jam Event. It is recommended that the City Council receive the presentation and formally recognize Mimi's Caf~ for the in-kind donations made for the 2003 Dub Town Jam.
