Expand the Art Selection Committee - Freeway Art to include two additional Community at Large Representatives. 2. Confirm Mayor's appointments of Barbara Luna and Kathleen Robinson to Art Selection Committee - Freeway Underpass Art Project FINANCIAL STATEMENT: None DESCRIPTION: At the November 8 meeting the City Council confirmed the Mayor's appointments to the Art Selection Committee - Freeway Underpass Art Project. However the Council concluded that in order to more adequately provide for community input on the selection process two additional community representatives should be appointed to the Art Selection Committee. Currently the Selection Committee consists of two members from the business community, two members from the community at large, two representatives from the Heritage and Cultural Arts Commission, and one representative from the City Council. Therefore, it is the recommendation of Staff that the City Council expand the number of Community at Large Representatives from two to four members. The Mayor recommends the additional appointment of the following individuals to the Art Selection Committee - Freeway Underpass Art Project: Community at Large Representatives: Barbara Luna . Kathleen Robinson It is the recommendation of Staff that the City Council: 1. Expand the Art Selection Committee - Freeway Art to include two additional Community at Large Representatives and; -2. Approve the appointments of Barbara Luna and Kathleen Robinson to the Art Selection Committee.
