A PROCLAMATION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
CITY OF DUBLIN
CALIFORNIA
lVHEREAS, Brenda Landucci has been employed as a Cl'Ossing Guard with All City Management services for two years
and has been assigned to Nielsen Elementary School for the 2007-2008 school year, stationed at the corner of Amarillo
Drive and Alegre Drive in the City of Dublin; and
lVHEREAS, Brenda Landucci is prompt, dependable, professional and has become an important part of the children's
everyday school life, she has been recognized repeatedly by parents and community members for her dedication, positive
attitude and obvious cOTlcernfor the safety of the children; and
lVHEREAS, Brenda Landucci is a dedicated parent of three children, two in college and a ten year old at home, who
draws great joy from her daily interaction with the school children she helps along their way to andfrom school; and
lVHEREAS, Crossing Guards have continued to provide for the safety of school children in our community, and the
outstanding supervision and friendly demeanor provided by Brenda Landucci has promoted traffic safety education for
children and motorists alike; and
lVHEREAS, Brenda Landucci has been named recipient ofthe 2007-2008 School Crossing Guard of the Year Awardfor
the City of Dublin by All City Management Services, Inc., Schools' Pedestrian Crossing Guard Committee; and
lVHEREAS, such distinguished and committed service to OU?' community should not go unrecognized by the City of
Dublin.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Dublin City Council expresses its heartfelt appreciation to Brenda
Landucci for her outstanding service to school children in our community, and extends sincere congratulations and best
wishes on her receipt of the 2007-2008 School Crossing Guard of the Year Awardfor the City of Dublin.
