PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Dublin will celebrate Affordable Housing Week from June 1-10,2007. Affordable Housing Week is a
celebration and awareness campaign of the accomplishments of the City of Dublin Affordable Housing
Programs. Dublin's Affordable Housing Week is concurrent with Neighbor Works Week, a national
event that highlights the accomplishments communities have made for individuals and families to achieve
homeownership.
At the June 5, 2007 City Council meeting, Mayor Lockhart will present Ms. Jacki Rickman, Executive
Director ofthe Tri- Valley Housing Opportunity Center, with the City's Affordable Housing Week
Proclamation. During the week of June 1,2007, the Housing Division will promote Dublin's Affordable
Housing Programs at City Hall.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that the City Council: 1) Receive Staff presentation; 2) Provide comments; and 3)
Proclaim June 1-10, 2007 as Affordable Housing Week. .
