2. Direct Staff to Prepare Formal Acknowledgment to the Donor

DESCRIPTION: The Dublin Parks and Community Services Department has received
a gift of an audio system with stereo, compact disc and tape playing capabilities. This item was donated to
the Shannon Center Preschool by Andy Smith, a family friend of one of the children enrolled in the
preschool. The preschool was in need of a new audio system and Mr. Smith graciously offered to purchase
one for the program.
Per Government Code Section 37354, it is recommended that all gifts and contributions be formally
accepted by the City Cotmcil. Therefore, it is the recommendation of Staff that the City Council accept
the gift and direct Staff to prepare a formal acknowledgment to Andy Smith.
