RECOMMENDATION: ~/~ccept improvements under Bus Shelter Fabrication Agreement
FINANCIAL STATEMENT: None
DESCRIPTION: In July 2003 the City Council approved an agreement with artist Dan
Dykes to fabricate three bus shelters for the downtown area based on a design approved bY the City
Council On November 5, 2002. The bus shelters have been fabricated and installed at the following
locations: 1) north side of Dublin Boulevard at Village Parkway and the 1-680 underpass; 2) north side of
Dublin Boulevard at Golden Gate Drive; and 3) south side of Dublin Boulevard at Golden Gate Drive. As
part of the agreement with Mr. Dykes the City has an obligation to formally accept the work as complete.
The City has reviewed the bus shelters and has determined that the work is complete. It is the
recommendation of Staff that the City Council accept the improvements under the Bus Shelter Fabrication
Agreement,
