DESCRIPTION:
At its March 22, 2006 Goals and Objectives meeting, the City Council reviewed and approved
with high priority the proposed comprehensive update to the Dublin Municipal Code (DMC). On
April 21, 2009, the City Council reviewed a status report on the comprehensive update to the
Dublin Municipal Code and Zoning Ordinance, which included a list of chapters that had been
reviewed by the City Attorney's Office, but had not been presented to the City Council. This
informational report provides the Council with a brief review of chapters which have been
determined to need no revision.

DMC Chapter 2.10 establishes the office of Director of Finance as authorized by California
Government Code Section 40805.5. Consistent with the Government Code, the Chapter also
confers on the Director of Finance certain statutorily described duties which would otherwise be
performed by the City Clerk.
Chapter 2.46 (Senior Advisory Committee
DMC Chapter 2.46 provides that members of the Senior Advisory Committee shall be entitled to
reimbursement for expenses approved by the City Council.
Chapter 2.48 (Youth Advisory Committee)
DMC Chapter 2.46 provides that members of the Youth Advisory Committee shall be entitled to
reimbursement for expenses approved by the City Council.
Where applicable, the City Attorney's office consulted with City Staff having responsibilities
relating to these Chapters before determining that no changes need be made.
