Status of Fandango' s Restaurant located at 7465 Amador
Valley Blvd.

BACKGROUND:
Fandango' s restaurant is a vacant building located at 7465 Amador Valley Blvd. The building has
been vacant for more than two years and now has building code deficiencies.
An investigation of building records has revealed that a new project was originally proposed for this
site earlier this year. Recently, an architect representing a proposed tenant for the site has begun
work on a restaurant/deli concept that would refurbish the building; correcting any deficiencies
present. Based on communications on June 26, 2001, staff anticipates that the architect will be ready
for Site Development Review in six weeks.
RECOMMENDATION:
No action at this time. Staff will continue to monitor progress of the new proposal and begin code
enforcement action if no Site Development Review is processed in the near future.
