EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Four applications were received for the Student Representative to the Parks and Community
Services Commission and the Mayor is recommending the appointment of Dublin High School
Senior Matthew Reinemann.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
None
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that the City Council confirm the Mayor's appointment of Matthew
Reinemann as
for the term of
the Student Representative to the Parks and Community Services Commission
July 2010 through June 2011.

DESCRIPTION:
The current term of the Student Representative to the Parks and Community Services
Commission will expire on June 30, 2010. During the month of April 2010, recruitment efforts
took place to encourage high school students to apply for the position for the upcoming term of
office. A total of four applications were received by the application deadline.
Mayor Sbranti recommends the appointment of Matthew Reinemann to a term commencing in
July 2010 and expiring in June 2011 as the Student Representative to the Parks and
Community Services Commission.
NOTICING REQUIREMENTS/PUBLIC OUTREACH:
The position for the upcoming term for the Student Representative to the Parks & Community
Services Commission was advertised at the local high schools, on the City's website and press
releases were sent to the Tri-Valley Herald, Valley Times and CTV.
