Acceptance of Gifts to City from Dublin Senior Center Sponsors

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The City Council will receive a report on the various sponsors who provided monetary donations
to support the City of Dublin Senior Center over the past year.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
During the past year, $9,000 in monetary sponsorships were received as well as in-kind
donations.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends the City Council recognize the sponsors and formally accept the
contributions.

DESCRIPTION:
The Dublin Senior Center actively seeks organizations or individuals who are interested in
supporting a specific class, program, or event. There is an average of over 200 visitors a day
that participate in a variety of recreational activities at the Dublin Senior Center. These
donations help to enhance programs and maintain affordable participation fees.
The following is a list of the sponsors being recognized for their support of the Dublin Senior
Center.

In recognition of the contributions, these organizations and individuals will be presented with
certificates of appreciation for supporting the City of Dublin Senior Center programs and events.
NOTICING REQUIREMENTS/PUBLIC OUTREACH:
Sponsors were notified and invited to attend the City Council meeting.
