EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The City Council will recognize those businesses that have been in Dublin for 20, 30, 35 and 40
years.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
None.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that the City Council recognize those businesses that have been in Dublin
for 20, 30, 35 and 40 years.

DESCRIPTION:
On May 1, 2007, the City Council adopted a Business Recognition Program. One component
of this Program included the development of a Business Anniversary Program, to recognize the
achievements of significant milestone anniversaries in our community. The Anniversary
Program acknowledges businesses that have been in Dublin for 10, 20, 30, 35 and 40 years.
The Anniversary Program calls for businesses operating for more than 20 years to be
recognized at a City Council meeting. Businesses that have been in business for 10 years
would receive a Certificate of Recognition and a letter from the City thanking them for their
contribution to this community.
For 2010, the City has three businesses celebrating their 40th year, five businesses celebratinq~
their 35th year, seven businesses celebrating their 30th year, 33 businesses celebrating their 20
year and 56 businesses celebrating their 10th year in the City of Dublin. Those businesses that
are being recognized are included as a list in Attachment 1.

None.
