The request does not adversely impact the project or the budget as no funds have been expended for this work. As a result Staff prepared a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a new construction management firm for both projects. Three firms supplied proposals by the deadline of December 21St including Mack 5, O'Connor Construction Management, and PMA Consultants. Of the three, Mack 5 provided the most comprehensive proposal that meets the City's needs for these projects. Attachment 1 is a Resolution releasing Bovis Lend Lease from the Agreement and approving an Agreement with Mack 5 for the construction management services. The Consultant is prepared to begin work as soon as possible. Authorization to bid for construction of both sites is anticipated to be considered by City Council in March 2013.
