• A complete packet of information containing Staff Reports and exhibits related to each item is available
for public review at least 72 hours prior to a Regular City Council Meeting or, in the event that it is
delivered to the City Councilmembers less than 72 hours prior to a Regular City Council Meeting, as soon
as it is so delivered. The packet is available in the City Clerk's Office and also at the Dublin Library.
Notice is hereby given that a Special Meeting of the City of Dublin City Council will be held on
Tuesday, August 5, 2014, at 5:15 p.m.

3. Revision to "Let Dublin Decide" Ballot Question
On July 29, 2014, the City Council adopted a resolution revising the ballot question language for the "Let
Dublin Decide Initiative" to more accurately describe the impact of the measure on existing law. The
approved ballot question exceeded the 75-word limit set forth in the Elections Code. The City Council will
be asked to approve an alternative version of the question that satisfies the requirements of the Elections
Code.
Staff Recommendation
Adopt a Resolution Revising the Ballot Question for the "Let Dublin Decide Initiative."
