DUBLIN CITY COUNCIL
ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING - January 21, 1992 DUBLIN CIVIC CENTER

A complete packet of information containing all Staff Reports and exhibits related to each agenda item is available
for public information and perusal several days prior to a Council meeting in the City Clerk's Office and also at
the Dublin Library.

3. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS
At this time, members of the audience are permitted to address the City Council on any item which is NOT on the City
Counc; l Agenda. Comments should not exceed 5 minutes. If any person feels that this is not suffic;ent time to
address their concern, that person should arrange with the City Clerk to have their particular concern placed on the
agenda for a future meeting. The City Council CANNOT deliberate or take action on a non-agenda item UNLESS there is
factual evidence presented to the Counci l indicating that the subject brought up falls into one of the exceptions
under Government Code Section 54954.2.
4. CONSENT CALENDAR
Consent Calendar items are typically of a non-controversial nature and are considered for approval by the City Council
with one single action. Members of the audience who would like an item removed from the Consent Calendar for purpose
of public input may request the City Council to remove the item. The request may be made at the time that the Mayor
asks the audience members if there is anyone interested in removing an item from the Consent Calendar.
4.1 Acceptance of Work - Contract No. 91-09 Sidewalk Grinding
Program
Work under Contract 91-09 has been completed to the
satisfaction of the City Engineer and within funds
budgeted for the project.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Accept improvements and authorize
$6,590.20 retention payment to Phil Thomasson Construction for
a total contract amount of $14,701.

6. PUBLIC HEARING - None
7. UNFINISHED BUSINESS
7.1 Dublin Boulevard Extension Assessment District 91-1
The City Council will consider an Engineer's Report related
to the formation of an assessment district which would
partially finance construction of the Dublin Boulevard
extension between Dougherty Road and the Southern Pacific
Railroad Right-of-Way, and establish a public hearing date
of February 24, 1992.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Instruct City Clerk to file Engineer's
Report in the City'S District Proceedings file; adopt
Resolution accepting Engineer's Report and setting public
hearing date; and instruct City Clerk to file the Notice of
Improvements.

9. OTHER BUSINESS
10. CLOSED SESSION - None
11. ADJOURNMENT - The next Regular Meeting of the Dublin City Council
will be on Monday, January 27th, 7:30 p.m., Council Chambers.
The Tri-Valley Joint Council meets every Monday morning at 7:30 a.m.,
(except holidays) in the Regional Meeting Room of the Dublin Civic
Center.
The Dublin City Council will hold a Special Meeting on Tuesday,
February 25th, 7:30 p.m., Council Chambers, to review the City'S 1991
Goals & Objectives and to establish and prioritize 1992 Goals &
Objectives.
