3.1 Introduction of New Employee: Linda Maurer, Assistant to the City Manager (700-10)
3.2 Proclamation for Lt. Glenn Moon, Dublin Police Services (610-50)
3.3 Recognition of SuperGen, Inc., for Outstanding Participation in the "Great Race for Clean
Air" Competition (610-50)
SuperGen, Inc., participated in the October 2008 "Great Race for Clean Air" competition, in
which Tri-Valley employers encouraged employees to use commute alternatives over driving
solo to work. The City Council will recognize the achievements of the company and its
employees for involvement in the competition.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Recognize SuperGen, Inc., for its outstanding participation in
the "Great Race for Clean Air" competition.
3.4 Tri-Valley Community Television Access via AT&T U-Verse Service (1050-50)
The City Council will receive a report on how AT&T subscribers can access the programming
produced on Tri-Valley Community Television.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Receive the report.
3.5 Presentation by Bay East Board of REALTORS® (470-30)
David Stark, Public Affairs Director of the East Bay Association of REALTORS®, will make
a presentation on the state of the residential housing market in the City of Dublin.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Receive the presentation.
3.6 Public Comments
At this time, the public is permitted to address the City Council on non-agendized items. Please step to the podium and clearly state your name
for the record. COMMENTS SHOULD NOT EXCEED THREE t31 MINUTES. In accordance with State Law, no action or discussion may take
place on any item not appearing on the posted agenda. The Council may respond to statements made or questions asked, or may request
Staff to report back at a future meeting concerning the matter. Any member of the public may contact the City Clerk's Office related to the
proper procedure to place an item on a future City Council agenda. The exceptions under which the City Council MAY discuss andlor take
action on items not appearing on the agenda are contained in Government Code Section 54954.2(b)(1)(2)(3).

4. CONSENT CALENDAR
Consent Calendar items are typically non-controversial in nature and are considered for approval by the City Council with one single action. Members
of the audience, Staff or the City Council who would like an item removed from the Consent Calendar for purposes of public input may request the
Mayor to remove the item,
4.1 Minutes of Adjourned Regular Meeting of February 7, 2009
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Approve.
4.2 Approval of Parcel Map 9826, Dublin Ranch (600-60)
Parcel Map 9826 subdivides Parcels 2 and 3 of Parcel Map 9003 into four parcels. The four
parcels place Pads A through E of the Grafton Station retail center on separate parcels.
PM 9826 includes a common parking, access and maintenance easement for the four parcels.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Adopt Resolution Approving Parcel Map 9826.
4.3 Approval of Consultant Agreement with Peter G. Shutts, A Professional Corporation, for
Design Work Associated with the Dublin Sports Grounds Renovation Project (600-30)
The services of a consultant are required for design and engineering for this phase of the
Dublin Sports Grounds Renovation Project, which will remodel the restrooms and snack bar.
The City Council will consider entering into an Agreement with Peter G. Shutts, A
Professional Corporation, to provide these services.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Adopt Resolution Approving the Agreement with Peter G.
Shutts, A Professional Corporation, to Provide Consulting Services .for the Dublin Sports
Grounds Renovation Project.
4.4 Warrant Register ($4,889,510.88) dated March 3, 2009 (300-40)
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Review and authorize the issuance of payments.
5. WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS -None.
6. PUBLIC HEARINGS -None.
7. UNFINISHED BUSINESS
7.1 Award of Bid -Contract No. 08-16, In-Pavement Lighted Crosswalk -Amador Valley
Boulevard at Wildwood Road (600-35)
The Bike Lane -Amador Valley Boulevard Corridor Project will connect the Iron Horse Trail,
the Alamo Creek Bike path, and the Dougherty Road Bike Path. This phase of the project
will construct an in-pavement flashing lighted crosswalk across Amador Valley Boulevard at
Wildwood Road. The City Council will consider awarding the Phase I contract to the low
bidder, Pleasanton Engineering, Inc.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Adopt Resolution Awarding Contract No. 08-16, In-Pavement
Lighted Crosswalk -Amador Valley Boulevard to Wildwood Road, to Pleasanton Engineering,
Inc.
7.2 Follow-Up to City Council Strategic Plan Workshop (100-80)
On Saturday, January 31, 2009, the Dublin City Council held a Strategic Plan Workshop to
review the City's Mission, Vision, and Values as well as the City's 10-Year Strategic Plan.
The City Council reviewed the City's Mission, Vision and Values and suggested
revisions/additions. This report will outline the proposed revisions/additions.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Review and approve the proposed revisions to the City's
Mission, Vision and Values, as wells as to the 10-Year Strategic Plan.
8. NEW BUSINESS
8.1 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (470-30)
City Staff will make a presentation regarding the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act
of 2009 and the projected stimulus dollars expected in the area of Street Revitalization.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Receive the presentation and provide any comments.

8.2 Annual Progress Report on the Status of the Dublin General Plan and Housing Element
Compliance for Calendar Year 2008 (430-10/420-20)
The City Council will review and consider accepting the Annual Progress Report on the
Status of the Dublin General Plan and Housing Element Compliance for the Calendar Year
2008 in accordance with Government Code Section 65400(b).
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Accept the Annual Progress Report on the Status of the Dublin
General Plan and Housing Element Compliance for the Calendar Year 2008; and. direct Staff to
forward the Annual Progress Report to the California State Office of Planning and Research and
the California Department of Housing and Community Development.
9. OTHER BUSINESS
9.1 Brief INFORMATION ONLY reports from Council and/or Staff, including Committee
Reports and Reports by Council related to Meetings Attended at City Expense (AB 1234).
