3.1 Public Comments
M this time, the public Is permitted to address the City Council on non-agendized items. Please step to the podium and clearly state
your name for the record. COMMENTS SHOULD NOT EXCEED THREE £31 MtNUTES. In accordance with state Law, no action
or discussion may take place on any ijem not appearing on the posted agenda. The Council may respond to statements made or
questions asked, or may request Staff to report back at a future meeting concerning the matter. Any member of the public may
contact the Cijy Clerk's Office related to the proper procedure to place an ijem on a future Cijy Council agenda. The exceptions
under which the Cijy Council MAY discuss and/or take action on ijems not appearing on the agenda are contained in Government
Code Section 54954.2(bX1)(2)(3).

7. UNFINISHED BUSINESS
7.1 Execution of Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Agreements (File # 600-30)
The current solid waste collection and disposal service contract with Waste Management Inc.,
expires on June 30, 2005. The City is engaged in a competitive proposal process to procure
solid waste services beginning July 1,2005. The City Council will consider "Best and Final"
proposals submitted by Amador Valley Industries and Waste Management for the provision
of collection services, and Republic Services and Waste Management for disposal services.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Adopt Resolution(s) - I) authorizing the City Manager to
execute the Collection Services Agreement with Amador Valley Industries; and 2) authorizing
the City Manager to execute the Disposal Services Agreement with Waste Management.
8. NEW BUSINESS
8.1 Authorization of Submittal of Funding Application for Natural Gas Solid Waste Collection
Vehicles (File # 530-10)
The City is eligible to apply for clean air incentive funding to offset the incremental capital
costs associated with natural gas solid waste collection vehicles that will be purchased as part
of its new Solid Waste Collection Services Agreement.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Adopt Resolution authorizing submittal of funding
application.
8.2 CertifICation of November 2, 2004 Election Results (File # 630-30)
The City has received the Election results for the Offices of Mayor and two Councilmembers,
rrom the Alameda County Registrar of Voters.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Adopt Resolution declaring results of election.
8.3 Presentation of Plaque to outgoing Councilmember Tim Sbranti (File 610-50)
Councilmember Sbranti has served on the Dublin City Council since being sworn into office
in April, 2002, following his election at a special election in March, 2002.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Present plaque and receive comments rrom outgoing
Councilmember Sbranti.
