HERITAGE AND CULTURAL "ARTS COMMISSION
THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 10, 2005 7:00 P.M.

1. CALL TO ORDER
2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
3. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS
At this time,the public is permitted to address the Heritage and Cultural Arts Commission on non-agendized items.
The Commission must,however,comply with all State Laws in regard to items not appearing on the posted agenda.
The Commission may respond to statements made or questions asked, or may request Staff to report back at a
future meeting concerning the matter. Any member of the public may contact the Office of the Parks and
Community Services Department related to the proper procedure to place an item on a future Heritage and
Cultural Arts Commission agenda. The exceptions under which the Heritage-and Cultural Arts Commission MAY
discuss and/or take action on items not appearing on the agenda are contained in GC 54954.2(b)(1)(2)(3).
4. MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING—January 13, 2005
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Approve Minutes.
5. WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS-NONE
6. PUBLIC HEARING-NONE
7. UNFINISHED BUSINESS—NONE
8. NEW BUSINESS
8.1 Heritage and Cultural Arts Objectives
The Heritage and Cultural Arts Commission will review the 2004-2005 Goals and Objectives and
provide input and prioritize the 2005-2006 Objectives.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Review,provide input and prioritize objectives.
8.2 Dublin Historic Park
Staff is developing a Request for Proposals for the Dublin Historic Park Master Plan and is
seeking Commission input on options for expansion of the historic park.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Approve options for study as part of the Dublin Historic
Park Master Plan or provide alternate direction.
8.3 Summer Concert Series
The City is preparing for Dublin's 9th Annual Summer Concert series this summer.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Receive report and provide direction to Staff.
8.4 New Cultural Arts Event
Staff has compiled several opportunities for a new cultural arts event in fiscal year 2005-2006.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Provide direction for research and development.
8.5 -- JazzMasters Workshop
Staff is'preparing program elements for the 2nd annual JazzMasters summer program.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Provide direction on the potential uses for the $1,000 in
additional funds.
