3.1 Brief Informational Only Reports from Senior Center and Youth Advisory Committees
At this time, the public is permitted to address the Parks and Community Services Commission on non-agendized
items. The Commission must,however,comply with all State Laws in regard to items not appearing on the posted
agenda. The Commission may respond to statements made or questions asked, or may request Staff to report
back at a future meeting concerning the matter. Any member of the public may contact the Office of the Parks
and Community Services Director related to the proper procedure to place an item on a future Parks and
Community Services Commission agenda. The exceptions under which the Parks and Community Services
Commission MAY discuss and/or take action on items not appearing on the agenda are contained in GC
54954.2(b)(1)(2)(3).
4. MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING—February 14,2000
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Approve Minutes.
5. WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS-None
6. PUBLIC HEARING
6.1 Amendments to Fee Schedules
The Commission will consider proposed fee increases for the following programs: playgrounds,
preschool,teens,adult sports,youth sports and aquatics.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Conduct Public Hearing and adopt Fee Schedules
7. UNFINISHED BUSINESS—None
8. NEW BUSINESS
8.1 Youth Advisory Committee Bylaws and Rules of Procedure
The Commission will consider revisions to the Youth Advisory Committee Bylaws and Rules of
Procedure that have been suggested by the Committee.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
8.2 Teen Summer Camp—Roaming Activities for Teens
The Commission will review a new summer camp for middle school teens, Roaming Activities for
Teens.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Provide input on proposed program.
8.3 3'd Annual Dub Town Jam
The Commission will review the plans for the 3rd Annual"Dub Town Jam" scheduled for May 19,2000.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Receive Report
8.4 Summer 4-Person Indoor/Outdoor Co-ed Volleyball League
The Commission will review a new summer co-ed adult volleyball league.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Provide input on proposed league.
This NOTICE is posted in accordance with Government Code Section 54954(b)(3).
8.5 Evaluation of 2000 St.Patrick's Day Festival
The Commission will review the statistics for the 2000 St. Patrick's Day Festival and provide input on
the 2001 Festival
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Provide recommendations on components and dates for next year
and appoint a representative from the Commission to service on the Liaison Committee.
8.6 Agreement Between City of Dublin and Dublin Unified School District Regarding Use of Facilities
The Commission will provide input on proposed areas of change in the agreement between the City and
the District.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Provide Input on Agreement
8.7 Fall Quarterly Report
The Commission will receive a report on the activities and programs conducted by the Department
during the months of September through December 1999.

10. ADJOURNMENT
