2 . PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
3 . ORAL COMMUNICATIONS
At this time, members of the audience are permitted to address the
Parks and Community Services Commission on items of interest to the
public, however, in accordance with GC 54954.2, no ACTION or
DISCUSSION shall take place on any item which is NOT on the Parks and
Community Services Commission Agenda. The Parks and Community
Services Commission may respond briefly to statements made or
questions posed, or may request Staff to report back at a future
meeting concerning the matter. Furthermore, a member of the Parks and
Community Services Commission may direct Staff to place a matter of
business on a future agenda. Any person may arrange with the Parks
and Community Services Director (no later than 11 a.m. , on the Monday
preceding a regular meeting) to have an item of concern placed on the
agenda for the next regular meeting. The exceptions under which the
Parks and Community Services Commission MAY discuss and/or take action
on items not appearing on the agenda are contained in GC
54954.2(b) (1) (2) (3) .

6 . PUBLIC HEARING
6. 1 Amendments to Fee Schedules
The Parks and Community Services Commission will consider
amendments to the fee schedules for playground programs,
preschool programs, teen programs, youth sports programs and
aquatics programs .
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: OPEN PUBLIC HEARING; RECEIVE STAFF
PRESENTATION AND PUBLIC COMMENTS; CLOSE PUBLIC HEARING AND
DELIBERATE; ADOPT RESOLUTIONS

8. NEW BUSINESS
8.1 1996-2001 Five Year Capital Improvement Program
Staff is currently preparing a new Five Year Capital Improvement
Program (CIP) for 1996 - 2001 . The Commission will review the
projects currently included in the 1994-1999 CIP and identify any
new projects for analysis by Staff .
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: PROVIDE INPUT ON CAPITAL PROJECTS AND
DETERMINE A DATE FOR A SPECIAL MEETING

• 8.2 Parks Implementation Plan
Staff is proposing that a sub-committee of two Commissioners be
appointed to assist with the development of a Parks
Implementation Plan.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: APPOINT TWO COMMISSIONERS TO SUB-COMMITTEE
