' CALL TO ORDER 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE 3. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS At this time, members of the audience are permitted to address the Parks and Recreation Commission on items of interest to the public, however, in accordance with GC 5495402, no ACTION or DISCUSSION shall take place on any item which is NOT on the Parks and Recreation Commission Agenda. The Parks and Recreation Commission may respond briefly to statements made or questions posed, or may request Staff to report back at a future meeting concerning the matter. Furthermore, a member of the Parks and Recreation Commission may direct Staff to place a matter of business on a future agenda. Any person may arrange with the Director of Recreation (no later than Mama, on the Wednesday preceding a regular meeting) to have an item of concern placed on the agenda for the next regular meeting. The exceptions under which the Parks and Recreation Commission MAY discuss and/or take action on items not appearing on the agenda, are contained in GC 54954.2(b)(l)(2)(3) . 4. MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING - MARCH 8, 1994 STAFF RECOMMENDATION: APPROVE 5. WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS - NONE 6. PUBLIC HEARING 6.1 Parks and Recreation Master Plan The Parks & Recreation Commission will conduct a Public Hearing on the Draft Parks and Recreation Master Plan STAFF RECOMMENDATION: 1. Open Public Hearing 2. Receive Presentation from Staff and the Consultant 3. Receive Public Testimony 4. Close Public Hearing 5. Deliberate 6. Approve Draft Master Plan 7. UNFINISHED BUSINESS - NONE 8. NEW BUSINESS 8.1 Changes in the Ralph M. Brown Act, Government Section 4950 et seq. The Parks and Recreation Commission will review the changes to the Ralph M. Brown Act. STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Receive Information 9. OTHER BUSINESS - NONE 9.1 Brief INFORMATIONAL ONLY Reports from Parks and Recreation Commissioners and/or Staff. 10. ADJOURNMENT
