ORAL COMMUNICATIONS At this time, members of the audience are permitted to address the Parks and Community Services Commission on items of interest to the public, however, in accordance with GC 54954.2, no ACTION or DISCUSSION shall take place on any item which is NOT on the Parks and Community Services Commission Agenda. The Parks and Community Services Commission may respond briefly to statements made or questions posed, or may request Staff to report back at a future meeting concerning the matter. Furthermore, a member of the Parks and Community Services Commission may direct Staff to place a matter of business on a future agenda. Any person may arrange with the Parks and Community Services Director (no later than 11a.m. ,on the Wednesday preceding a regular meeting) to have an item of concern placed on the agenda for the next regular meeting. The exceptions under which the Parks and Cornrm,nity Services Commission MAY discuss and/or take action on items not appearing on the agenda are contained in GC 54954.2(b) (1) (2) (3) . 4. MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING - APRIL 11, 1995 STAFF RECOMMENDATION: APPROVE 5 . WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS 5.1 Written Communication from the Briarhill Homeowners'Association regarding the needs for a neighborhood park for the Briarhill area and the need for trailhead parking for the Hansen Hill Ranch Development. The Briarhill Homeowners'Association has requested that their correspondence be included on the Parks and Community Services Commission agenda. STAFF RECOMMENDATION: RECEIVE INFORMATION - NO ACTION RECOMMENDED 6. PUBLIC HEARING - NONE 7 . UNFINISHED BUSINESS - NONE 8. NEW BUSINESS 8.1 Art in the Parks Program The Dublin Fine Arts Foundation has been working on the "Art in the Parks Program" for the past year. Models of the artwork selected by the Neighborhood Selection Committees for Alamo Creek Park and Kolb Park will be presented. STAFF RECOMMENDATION: RECEIVE PRESENTATION FROM DUBLIN FINE ARTS FOUNDATION; APPROVE RECOMMENDED PIECES; AND DIRECT STAFF TO FORWARD RECOMMENDATIONS TO CITY COUNCIL 8.2 Dublin Sports Grounds Renovation Staff has prepared a report on the Dublin Sports Grounds Renovation indicating the improvements for each phase and proposed timeline for the Commissions review and input. STAFF RECOMMENDATION: REVIEW MASTER PLAN AND PROVIDE INPUT 9. OTHER BUSINESS - NONE 9.1 Brief INFORMATIONAL ONLY Reports from Parks and Community Services Commissioners and/or Staff 10.
