3. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS
At this time, members of the audience are permitted to address the
Parks and Recreation Commission on items of interest to the public,
. however, in accordance with GC 54954.2, no ACTION or DISCUSSION shall
take place on any item which is NOT on the Parks and Recreation
Commission Agenda. The Parks and Recreation Commission may respond
briefly to statements made or questions posed, or may request Staff to
report back at a future meeting concerning the matter. Furthermore, a
member of the Parks and Recreation Commission may direct Staff to
place a matter of business on a future agenda. Any person may arrange
with the Director of Recreation (no later than 11a.m., on the
Wednesday preceding a regular meeting) to have an item of concern
placed on the agenda for the next regular meeting. The exceptions
under the Parks and Recreation Commission MAY discuss and/or take
action on items not appearing on the agenda are contained in
GC 54954.2(b)(1)(2)(3).

5. WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS
5.1 Request from Dublin Little League for an Excemption from the
Dublin Sports Grounds Facility Use Policy
Correspondence has been received from Dublin Little League
requesting exemption to the Dublin Sports Grounds Facility Use
Policy. DLL is requesting to be allowed one-hour lead time for
each field scheduled for game play, without charge, for field
preparation.

8.1 Proposed Inline Skating Hockey Program
Commissioner Trimble has been approached by members of the
community to form an inline skating program for youth and teens.
Staff has prepared several alternative program ideas for
consideration by the Commission.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: CONSIDER AND PROVIDE DIRECTION
8.2 Winter Quarter 1994 Recreation Report
Staff has prepared a summary of the classes and programs
conducted during the Winter Quarter 1994 encompassing the months
of January, February and March, for the Commissions review.
