3.1 Brief Informational Only Reports from Senior Center and Youth Advisory Committees
At this time,the public is permitted to address the Parks and Community Services Commission on non-agendized
items. The Commission must,however,comply with all State Laws in regard to items not appearing on the posted
agenda. The-Commission may respond to statements made or questions asked, or may request Staff to report
back at a future meeting concerning the matter. Any member of the public may contact the Office of the Parks
and Community Services Director related to the proper procedure to place an item on a future Parks and
Community Services Commission agenda. The exceptions under which the Parks and Community Services
Commission MAY discuss and/or take action on items not appearing on the agenda are contained in GC
54954.2(b)(1)(2)(3).
4. MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING—April 24,2000
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Approve Minutes.
5. WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS-None
6. PUBLIC HEARING-None
7. UNFINISHED BUSINESS
7.1 Evaluation of 2000 St.Patrick's Day Festival
The Commission will receive a report summarizing the 2000 St. Patrick's Day Festival and provide input
on the 20001 Festival.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: 1) Provide recommendations on the various components for
implementation next year; and 2) appoint a Commission representative to serve on the St.
Patrick's Day Liaison Committee.
8. NEW BUSINESS
8.1 Agreement Between City of Dublin and Dublin Unified School District Regarding Use of Facilities
The Commission will provide input on proposed areas of change in the agreement between the City and
the District.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Provide Input on Agreement
8.2 Youth Advisory Committee Bylaws and Rules of Procedure
The Commission will consider revisions to the Youth Advisory Committee Bylaws and Rules of
Procedure that have been suggested by the Committee. -
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: 1) Conceptually approve changes to Bylaws and Rules of
Procedure; and 2) direct Staff to submit changes to City Council for consideration.
8.3 3rd Annual Dub Town Jam
The Commission will review the plans for the 3rd Annual"Dub Town Jam"scheduled for May 19,2000.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Receive Report
This NOTICE is posted in accordance with Government Code Section 54954(b)(3).
