ORAL COMMUNICATIONS 3.1 Brief Informational Only Reports front Senior Center and Youth Advisory Committees 3.2 Public Comments At this time, the public is permitted to address the Parks and Community Services Commission on non- agendized items. The Commission must, however, comply with all State Laws in regard to items not appearing on the posted agenda. The Commission may respond to statements made or questions asked, or may request Staff to report back at a future meeting concerning the matter. Any member of the public may contact the Office of the Parks and Community Services Director related to the proper procedure to place an item on a future Parks and Community Services Commission agenda. The exceptions under which the Parks and Community Services Commission MAY discuss and/or take action on items not appearing on the agenda are contained in GC 54954.2(b)(1)(2)(3) 4. MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING—April 26,2004 STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Approve Minutes. 5. WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS-None 6. PUBLIC HEARING-None 7. UNFINISHED BUSINESS-None 8. NEW BUSINESS 8.1 Emerald Glen Park Phase III Design The Commission will consider the three design alternates prepared for Emerald Glen Park, Phase III. STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Provide input on the three design alternates. 8.2 Fallon Sports Park Master Plan—Design Process Update The Commission will review the options and the preferred plan for the Fallon Sports Park as per the direction of the Fallon Sports Park Master Plan Task Force. STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Provide direction and recommendations on the design. 8.3 2004 Day on the Glen Festival The Commission will receive a report on the proposed event plan for the Day on the Glen Festival. STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Receive the report and provide input on the proposed event plan. 8.4 Proposed Five-Year Capital Improvement Program 2004-2009 The Commission will receive a report on the proposed projects included in the 2004-2009 CIP. STAFF RECOMMENDATION:, Confirm project priorities as proposed by Staff or determine alternate priorities for recommendation to the City Council. 8.5 Camp Parks Strategic Visioning Process The Commission will receive a report on the Camp Parks Strategic Visioning Process that will be used to gain community input on the future land use plan for the 182-acre site. STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Appoint a representative and an alternate to participate on the Camp Parks Strategic Visioning Process Charrette Design Team. This NOTICE is posted in accordance with Government Code Section 54954(b)(3). If requested, this agenda shall be made available in appropriate alternative formats to persons with a disability, as required by Section 202 of the.
