DUBLIN PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION
REGULAR MEETING - TUESDAY, JULY 10, 1990 CIVIC CENTER

1. CALL TO ORDER
2. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS
At this time, members of the audience are permitted to address the
Park and Recreation Commission on any item which is not on the Agenda.
Comments should not exceed 5 minutes. If any person feels that this
is not sufficient time to address their concern, that person should
arrange with the Recreaton director to have their particular concern
placed on the agenda for a future meeting.

4. WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS
4.1 Correspondence from Dublin Unified School District Regarding
Skateboard Park
At the January 9, 1990 meeting of the Park and Recreation
Commission, the Commission directed staff to contact the Dublin
Unified School District regarding the availability of land at
Dublin Elementary Schol for a skateboard park. A response to the
City's request has been received from Heinz Gewing,
Superintendent.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Receive Information
5. NEW BUSINESS
5.1 Fiscal Year 1990-91 Recreation Department Budget and Park Capital
Improvement Plan
At the June 26, 1990 meeting of the Dublin City Council, the
Council adopted the fiscal year 1990-91 budget as well as the
1990-95 Capital Improvement Program. Staff has prepared a
summary of the Recreation Department Budget and the Park Capital
Projects for review by the Commission.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Receive Information
5.2 Afterschool Recreation Program
In order to develop a program that would reach a broader segment
of the community, staff proposes to revise the format of the
Afterschool Program.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Review Proposed Program and Provide Input
5.3 Teen Program Report
Staff has prepared a report summarizing the teen programs
offered during the 1989-90 school year.
