At this time, members of the audience are permitted to address the
Parks and Recreation Commission on items of interest to the public,
however, in accordance with GC 54954.2, no ACTION or DISCUSSION shall
take place on any item which is NOT on the Parks and Recreation
Commission Agenda. The Parks and Recreation Commission may respond
briefly to statements made or questions posed, or may request Staff to
report back at a future meeting concerning the matter. Furthermore, a
member of the Parks and Recreation Commission may direct Staff to
place a matter of business on a future agenda. Any person may arrange
with the Director of Recreation (no later than ila.m. , on the
Wednesday preceding a regular meeting) to have an item of concern
placed on the agenda for the next regular meeting. The exceptions
under which the Parks and Recreation Commission MAY discuss and/or
take action on items not appearing on the agenda are contained in
GC 54954.2(b)(1)(2)(3).

8.1 Heritage Center Renovation
The Commission will receive a presentation from Staff,
Alan R. Dreyfuss and H. Ruth Todd, Architects, on the survey and
recommendations for the Heritage Center Renovation.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: RECEIVE PRESENTATION, PUBLIC COMMENT AND
PROVIDE DIRECTION
8.2 Spring Ouarter 1994 Recreation Report
Staff has prepared a summary of the activities conducted during
the Spring Quarter for the Commissions review.
